Clark was on pace just didn’t have the longevity to produce the numbers to reach that HOF threshold would be my guess. Didn’t reach 3,000 hits or 300 homers but hit over .300 for his career.

Yes that is him. He has his own ‘Big Hurt’ under the stands for the people who sit behind home plate. He had a lot to do with there new stadium renovations this past year

His seat is right next to the Auburn dugout in the 2nd row of the lowest level box seats. Some Auburn fans pointed him out to me

Frank Thomas was the first SEC player in the HOF. Todd Helton was the second. Only 58 players in the HOF played college baseball.
