We’re 56th in walks allowed per game. The problem is being exaggerated.

I like the freshman Griffin Herring. He needs to be giving a shot at starting a weekend game.

2022 - #43
2021 - #42
2020 - #89
2019 - #114

Took all of 3 minutes to get those stats. Seems like people would check their dumb takes before they make fools of themselves.

We make everything so hard on ourselves. Just throw strikes

This isnt 12u. These guys need to be able to pick at the zone, and that is hard. Look at Money. He can throw it right down the middle. His problem is he cant change speeds effectively.

It is a hard thing to train for, all of these guys can pump it down the middle. Who can work the zone, who can effectively change speeds.

Skenes is the only pitcher (now that Shores is out) who can just pound the strike zone with his FB because he’s so overpowering. He’s also by far our best pitcher and has the best accuracy, but he also just has triple digit stuff.

Everyone else needs to try and pitch around the edges. And the edges of our strike zones have been pretty tight. You see good pitches get called balls and most of our staff has to throw a meatball to avoid a walk.

Kind of like the we can't hit LHP narrative.
