It’s the respect he *already* deserves for beating what appears to be an auburn team well on its way to 5 losses and a Miami team that has changed QBs since it’s opening season loss to LSU.
I’ll tell you one person not getting any respect today: Dave Aranda.
Nevermind the fact that the offense stalled out multiple times, or that the offense has been the issue all season, but let’s make sure to blame it on the defense and the defense alone. Poor SLINGER can’t take that kind of criticism, it’s why he didn’t want the job in the first place.

The SEC was tougher from 05-2016. I don’t recall those staffs being cut any slack cause LSU played in a hard conference.
In fact, I don’t recall SOS ever being used to excuse a L or a disappointing season. Go figure.

Allowing the defense to discuss this in a time-out is dumb as shite, though. No one is going to jump when they are coming off of a TO and being screamed at about not jumping. Rarely, anyways. The point is to go about the hard count when momentum is still in your favor. Not after a TO.

I get that. But OTOH, the defense might’ve never expected LSU to burn a TO jut for a hard count.
