Why even wear purple or gold? So gay that we wear our university colors and match the team.

And God forbid an adult wear a jersey.

If it is, I'll still be wearing a gold jacket, purple pants, and white shoes and gloves

They are promoting people to go out and buy clothing in the colors that are the worst sellers. You know why we don't have a purple out? Because most people already mainly buy purple. I could see them doing a white out because they want everybody to run out and purchase a white LSU shirt -- which is a license fee in LSU's pocket and profit in the store owner's pocket * 93,000.

It's not that people don't want to participate. It's that we don't want to have to run to Tiger Mania and drop another $75 down on a polo just because it's the "white out" game.

I find it hard to believe that LSU fans don't have a variety of LSU clothing.

If it was based on poorly selling colors, we would never have a gold game.

I recall a white out game where it poured, turning campus into one large wet T-shirt contest.

This is the only defensible reason for a white out game. But it is a very good one.

... and while we're at it, we could hold hands, sing Kumbaya and roast marshmallows by the fireplace afterwards!
