He tells us why Max can be more effective than Myles, but doesn’t give any information to support his statement that Max IS separating himself. Is he speculating? Or does he actually know? He doesn’t make much of a case for the latter.

No idea who will win the QB job.
My biggest worry about Myles is how he can take a hit coming off injury. I'm not saying it's a thing, but sometimes there is a bit of hesitation or timidity coming back from a rather large injury.
What I do think though is that the coaches will start the best person who gives us the best chance to win. I'm kind of excited to see what things look like with both sides of the ball having different coordinators.

So nice to have QB competition with very, very, very good QBs. (Can’t say great…yet)
