His thread calling out all the imaginary people who promised a NCAA tourney bid was ranter magic

there were random rantards who were like "this could be an NCAA team!" but most people were like "ahh, simmer down. Hopefully NIT"... he's really ignorant and I don't want to say what else I think about him because I was told I need to behave if I want to stick around again.

shut up count. this guy's sole purpose posting here is to flame basketball threads. If it were started by South, ouaron, fightingtiger or any other random person I'd agree it was legit. But this guy is here to flame. Take his dick out of your mouth bitch

They are a solid NCAA team next year. JOB, hickey, stringer, Malik. You lose carmouche. Getting Mickey and Martin, quarterman, Odo will be HUGE for us. If we had another 6'9 PF who wasn't worthless (ADP), we have 4 more wins easily. We are a bubble NIT team and all out core guys are growing up, with some talent coming in. And Odo is already here. I think we get a 6th seed and go to sweet 16

And Darcy Malone.

I agree, seems like the type who could really develop and with the depth next year no reason to rush him.

We'll have a solid roster next season. Quality 2 deep at 4 out of 5 positions.

Now if Bullet can go out and get a solid 2 guard and a solid power forward in next year's class, this team could win the SEC and make a nice tournament run the year after next.

hoping Malik continues to improve...

Hickey/Quarterman/Collins
Stringer/Morgan
Martin/Coleman/Hammink
Mickey/Courtney
O'Bryant/Odo

the guys at the 4 and 5 are really interchangable though...

Yeah I was thinking this:

O'Bryant/Mickey
Odoh/Malone

My 4 out of 5 was in reference to Malone. He sounds like a 1-2 year project before he's ready to contribute

I always saw them more as a NIT bubble team. I know that's not a popular among the sunshine pumpers. With them being a one and done or at max 1 more win, I still don't think that's enough to make them a lock for the NIT. I know alot of the pumpers are saying how they think LSU will be a big dance team next year. I, however, see them more as a solid NIT with an outside shot at the big dance. Yes, LSU will bring in a very good recruiting class, but look at UK. They have a better class this yr than LSU is bringing in next season and they will barely make the big dance. Hopefully the recruiting class coming in can gel and they can be a solid NCAA tourney team in 2 yrs.

Agreed LSU in the NIT has a lot to do with how many teams go to the Big Dance! If we are a two team league, it is unlikely we go, if we are a 4 team league, I think LSU is in!

Something else to watch for is the smaller conference tourneys. We want all the regular season champs to win the tournaments too beacuse they are guaranteed an NIT berth if they don't make the NCAAs.

I haven't changed my stance on LSU since Dec. I said it then, that I thought they had an outside shot at NIT. I still believe that. I also don't think LSU will be a NCAA lock for next season. I love the fact that LSU basketball is somewhat relevant again. I guess I just look at things more objectively than a lot of LSU fans. I think LSU will have a lot more talent next season, I also think the other teams in the sec will also be better next season.

That's quite a crystal ball you have there sir, but I'd call you an ignorant douche before Nostradamus.
