Not currently, we can be again

UGA is starting to pull away between the two of us as well

As much as I want us to be elite. No, we’re not.

Haven’t beat our in conference opponents at a consistent rate either.

It takes a lot to be on OSU, Bama and Geaorgias level. We don’t have the right pieces in place yet.

No...nobody fears or is scared to play lsu. Texas a&m took over our crowd at home at started crowd surfing....we lost to Vanderbilt and you ask this?

Then besides Alabama, OSU and UGa who else is "elite"?

Thats the whole meaning of the word elite.

No, we are no longer elite. Never have been. We are whatever that tier below elite is called but have the ability to win championships at a higher rate than anyone else in the tier with us.

Yes. It was a dumpster fire in 2020 and 2021 and in year 1 Kelly was able to make it to the SEC championship game. It shows how fast it can be turned around.

Totally. Considering dozens of schools have done the same in that time period, feels silly to hang your hat on, right?

frickin moron.

Yes. Alabama, Ohio State, and LSU are the only 3 programs to win 3 national championships this century.

It comes down to this hire....if we flop on this one in the end, then yes we are going to lose elite status. Its why this one is so important.

Historically yes and that still matters.

We’re not miles away from being elite again in the present.

Not even close. Look at our bowl games over the past 3 years. This will be the 4th year in a row of playing in a shite bowl.

We’re a top 5-6 program. Title winner but not consistent enough due to end of O’s era and what we currently are dealing with.
The O era has nothing to do with where we are currently and everything to do with Brian Kelly cruising through his contract. He did nothing but lie to us the whole time he was here. I know a good offensive line when I see one bs.

No. Not anymore. 2019 revived it and then Jayden winning the Heisman was big, but we’ve fallen into Florida territory now, heading to Miami/Florida State territory. One more bad coaching hire and we’ll have to rebuild completely.

It’s a different time. Still lots of potential, but we need a rebirth now, not a continuation. We had a good 20 year run.

The only ELITE program in modern state of college football is Ohio State. Bama and UGA have not proven shite in this current version. All their success came from just killing you with depth that you can no longer due unless you are Ohio St.

Texas is probably the only school that can get to Ohio St. level in the entire country but they are just notorious dick steppers.

No we consistently underachieve. We are no better than Michigan, Florida St or Florida - all schools that tRant loves to shite on. We are not elite. We catch lightening in a bottle every 4-6 years or so. LSU fans are delusional if they think so.

Currently not elite. Elite teams will be in the playoff damn near every year. That leaves UGA, Bama and OSU. LSU falls in the second tier. LSU will need a good coach to rejoin those schools

Exactly, we fire a coach because we think we are elite. But since 2012… our record is arguably not an elite program.

Outside of 2019 (since 2012) when have we been elite…

Snce they have had a title game, or playoff, only Bama has more titles than LSU.

Tied for 2nd most titles? yes, that's elite
