She is talented and definitely could be of help to LSU but she is always injured lately, granted thats no different than half of LSU's roster. Half the team is missing time here and there due to their own physical health.

She was never going to be someone like Finnegan who would carry the team in the AA every week but definitely expected her to be a steady strong contributor on 2 events every week. She was highly recruited prior to her explosion on social media. I was expecting her to mostly do beam and bars. Bars may be a bit more challenging now given her torn labrum history but she's been slowly training more lately.

Not saying this to knock her, but is she? We had good attendance before her. The other gymnasts probably get a social media uptick thanks to her, which potentially gets their money up, so that actually does help them. Not sure how beneficial it is for the program though. If we continue these discouraging performances it'll probably get blamed on her by some people, which won't be fair.

There was a lot of attention to LSU gymnastics before she came here. Most meets were sellouts. We had the highest attendance in the nation. The attention we’re getting now isn’t necessarily good. It’s causing problems we don’t need. I mean, we’re having to pay for extra security for someone who hasn’t even competed this year, and will only see limited competition if and when she does. If we had an Olympian like Suni Lee and needed extra security, at least the team would be benefitting from her high scores. JMO
