So, I'm guessing the he is just getting ready for the combine on his own. Doesn't want to risk injury, I guess.

Nope. The reason is he's not invited. Most of the players at the all-star games already have agents. Many have not yet graduated.

He's too good for an "All-Star" game! Do you see Andrew Luck or RG3 in any All-Star games?

Also, while Marcus Randall did play at safety/linebacker for the Titans in 2005, he was mostly a special teams player, and I seriously doubt that JJ could play safety or linebacker in the NFL.
The thoughts about him playing TE are similarly absurd.

He had a piss poor career statistically. No one who has seen him play, other than Les, would say he is an "all star".

Let's give JJ credit- he unofficially had somewhere around 114 yards rushing in the BCS bowl. Unfortunately, it was from running around in his own backfield. But Les was satisfied with that because, after all, he was able to sustain the rush that Alabama put on.

chicken needs to put a filter on the site that will block any post with the words, JJ, Shadys,etc in them. For some reason we can't just let it die and move on.

Those games are supposedly to help enhance NFL draft status. JJ = NFL does not compute.

Some seem to never get their fill of eating our own.
