I always have said this.

Jarret Lee is not better than Matt Flynn; therefore should get the start.

End of Story.

Jarret Lee has the physical abilities to play in the SEC. I'm just not sure if he is the best choice for us based on the offense we tend to run... but then again I'm not a coach and I have not seen how much he has progressed since we last saw him last year.

You're bored, aren't you? If you just want new meat, say so. Very disingenious, IMO.

Eventually.

I'd like to think there are worse QB's that have been good enough to play in this league.

Josh Booty had plenty of INT's his freshman year.

Maybe our offense should do more tackling practice?

Quit apologizing. Desmond made his mark... now, it's time for J.J.

Ask yourself this: list QBs that have played in the SEC that you would consider worse than Jarret Lee (currently and whatever potential Jarret Lee has).

A clever way to put it that I haven't heard. 'Tis why I have maintained that he might be very handy this year as #2. Just don't ruin all credibility and say that he should be # 1....or he's this or that after last year... let it play out...

Too early to tell. Give the kid a chance to learn how good he can be.

Give Jordan Jefferson and Russell Shepard a "Nancy Kerrigan" and maybe he can.

You people are pathetic and have a gang mentality. You get your jollies by jumping in to bash someone that has accomplished so much more in their athletic career than you could ever imagine.

Every one of those who make the a-hole criticism of JL are nothing but worms who never had and never could or will have anyting resembling any kind of athletic experience. They are weasels who can do nothing but bitch about something they have no hope of ever understanding much less experiencing.

There is nothing more pathetic than mid 30's 9 to 5'ers piling on a college athelte. A college athlete who by the way chose LSU over a pile of other offers is the target of your misplaced anger.

It's NOT the mid-30's 9-5'ers doing the JL bashing, it's the high school/college student TD geek squad. They see in Jarrett Lee what they WANT to be (football player at LSU) and just can't stand it. Jealousy pure and simple.

Athletic Careers. What Athletic Careers? 99% of em probably never even played high school football or have ever had a jock strap wrapped around their F.Jewels except for maybe in P.E. class. They're just frustrated and jealous little virgins who are close to the same age as JL and he reminds them of what they aspire to, but can't be. ........

Say what? Please god tell me this isn't a reference to Auburn. We had numerous comebacks just last year that rank way ahead of this one. 2007 Florida anyone?
