When all is said and done, Chase will be the best receiver LSU has ever given up to the league.

I have no argument against it.. I personally like Bowe and Reed, but Chase is def in the discussion.

Debatable between him and Reed.

Go pull up Reed’s stats and remember he played one less game than Chase (Chase didn’t play vs. NSU iirc) and played in 2001 when the passing game wasn’t as friendly as it is now.

Both are/were unbelievable. It all depends on what Chase does next year. Reed has two pretty stellar seasons.

I agree with this. If he puts up another 1,000 yard season with 8+ tds, he runs away with it.

Where would you rank Justin Jefferson? He’s top 5 in several categories...in the Bowe and Lafell range in many categories.

I think Chase and JJ have pushed Beckham and Landry out of the top 5 or nearly out. Marshall might be in that discussion next year as well.

If he goes out next year and does 75% of his production from this season, yes.

I might give a slight nod to Reed because he was such a focal point that season yet made plays from beginning to end (who can forget his performances in the SEC title game and Sugar Bowl). JaMarr was one of five weapons this year so teams couldn’t key on him like they did Reed. Look at Clemson going man to man on him.

These kinds of comparisons are hard, because all of the top WR in history would have dominated in this offense.

Josh Reed in the slot in this system?

frick!

Are y’all out y’all goddamn minds?? OBJ and Landry put up some of the best duo numbers in a Les Miles offense. I can only imagine the insane numbers they would have put up in this offense.

I'll always love Reed for what he did to Bama.

Can we have a 1a and 1b?

My 5 would be:

1a: Jamar Chase
1b: Josh Reed
3: Jarvis Landry
4: OBJ
5: Justin Jefferson

Landry

Will probably always be my favorite but allot of it has to do with his play on special teams and he made some ridiculous catches.

He's on his way, let's just leave it at that. He is in some hell of competition that is for sure! LSU has had some studs over the years.

Martin
Davis
Bowe
Reed
Lafell
OBJ
Landry

Yes. And he would fricking run a WR clinic on anyone before him.

Only person remotely close to JaMarr is the othe G.O.A.T, Jarvis fricking Landry
