It's hard to say... I think Chase is as good as any WR we've ever had, and I've been watching since Eric Martin played.

But then I think that Jefferson is underrated (!), and could be the next Mike Thomas in the NFL; and I think Marshall could explode next season and join the conversation for BEST EVER too. I really think this group is just that good.

From a Clemson fan, I'm going with... yes.

It is close, but Wendell Davis was a pass catching machine back in 86 and 87 and the game was different then. Carlos Carson for the time was very much like JaMarr Chase

Right now I would say:
1.Josh Reed, 167 career receptions, 3001 career yards, 17 career TD's
2.Wendell Davis, 183/2708/19
3.Michael Clayton 182/2582/21
4.Brandon LaFell 175/2517/25
5.Justin Jefferson 165/2415/24

That being said Chase (107/2093/23) is absolutely on track to make it all the way up to #1 with a huge season in 2020.

Gonna be hard for me to go against Josh Reed. Ja'Marr is going to have a better NFL career but in college, I look at Josh Reed like Kevin Faulk where he was the guy who stood out on the field. Probably another reason why it's hard for me to rank him above Reed because you had so many other players on this year's offense who could just take over.

Chase and Marshall will be practicing against Stingley Jr and Flott, daily.

It's crazy to say, but objectively, honestly, neither side of the ball should face a harder challenge in any possible game. Some teams might approach it, but nobody will exceed it.
