Is it true only about 12K fans attended yesterday?

Pretty damning, if true.

Another piece of evidence that LSU fans care more about the party and the social scene than actual football.

The fanbase truly only gives a shite about 1-2 games a year. Sad.

Why would I go sit in a boring arse stadium when I can watch from my couch without a mask on?

Went to game. Won’t be back.

No atmosphere. Game still lasting 5 hours due to TV. No fun. Boring. $9 drinks and limited menu. No tailgating. And the stupid BTR still could not figure out traffic.

You could sit in the stadium without a mask on as well

My understanding is that the tickets situation was very unclear until the last minute along with policies, etc., and people couldn't plan ahead.

Why would anyone sit outside with a fricking mask on? Covid paranoia has ruined the fun

If this was a normal season, no covid, a night game against UTSA 3 weeks ago, that stadium would have been packed. BLM had nothing to do with it.

LSU is desperately trying to walk back the messaging from BLM to Tigers United.

It’s too late.

I had too many unanswered questions — I wasn’t taking the risk and rolled over to next year.

That said I understood from a friend that the app was a pain — anyone with good experiences?

Still not why people didn’t show. See my previous post.

You’re incorrect. See my previous post.

It’s amazing how so many of you can’t understand you only needed a mask walking into the stadium.

I watched the Ole Miss game yesterday and NONE of their fans in the stands had masks on. I’m confused about what exactly the policy is.

Fair reasoning, tiger91

I guess my question is why only half the the people with tickets decided not to go?

Supposedly a passionate fanbase, football starved, sec game...doesn’t add up.

I was responding to your previous post. I don’t care for all the virtual signaling either, but THAT is not why people didn’t show up. Do you really think having a night game with no Covid, with the championship banner being raised and no opt outs that we’d have a bunch of empty seats because of BLM?

. In general our fans are really pretty pathetic.
