Is it time to sound the panic alarm with LSU football for the foreseeable future or nah?

Please talk me off the ledge, not even sure I care what happens tomorrow anymore. Always cheer for and hope for the best for LSU but this is uncharted territory we may find ourselves in if things don't change in a positive way vis a vis this class and the portal.

the current state of college football in general is just odd. its new to all of this. the haves are starting to pick and choose over the have nots......which is nothing new, but since the price has gone up, and the free transfer portal, its going to hit harder.

LSU still needs depth and talent.........the class is still relatively strong, and we can still get some portal guys. and as abysmal as this season felt, we were only 1 extra loss away from being the CFP discussion. build the roster, build some depth, continue to look for quality players that have quality character and you can still be competitive. just because teams buy everyone right now, doesn't mean their roster wont have disgruntled attitudes, and their own set of issues.

He said they were gonna spend heavy in the portal. That doesn’t open until the ninth.

You are the one that is looking like a fool

Daniels is the only real loss I see in the portal so I'm not worried much about what happened today. Campbell leaving early was the right call too.

Let's get through tomorrow and see where the dust settles......

i'm not the one hemorrhaging recruits and players. his recruiting class is in a total free fall. dude has only ever landed castoffs from aggy and mcneese from the portal. consider me skeptical.

If you’re on the ledge with just this little bit of news you better jump now and stay away from it.

Not really. Seems like as long as you can bring back a solid QB you are in good shape these days.

Recruiting has always created panic for LSU fans. This year is no different aside from the fact that we are no longer in the group of the "haves". We are in the group one step down with regard to resources for NIL.

This means we have to change how we look at roster management and change our expectations of where the talent will come from.

No

I don’t care what Kelly says, teams are built thru the portal. Damn near year to year. Whiff again and it’s another lean year.

What’s the point of panicking? This is not a situation that you have control over lol

Until LSU and its fans get serious about NIL then the panic alarm will be going off
