Perhaps only LSU fans could have a 13-page (and counting) thread about some paint sprayed on a patch of grass.

Downvote #1350.

The eye is trashy? I live in Florida and have run into many fans of other teams over the years who have stated that they consider it one of the best mid-field logos of any stadium, and a number have said THE best.

GTFO.

LOL. I just posted my reply and jumped to page 12 rather than read through it all. Clearly OP turned out to be a massive prick. Is he banned yet? Seems Fat Bastard is probably correct that he’s an alter.

Fans actually discuss midfield logos? I couldn't tell anyone a single midfield logo in all of college football other than our own. Just seems pretty insignificant.

The same goes for end zones other than Tennessee and Notre Dame with their old school look. Others are just like visual white noise.

a good looking field is part of the overall experience of a game. As are the fight songs, the marching band pregame song and formation, the various cheers throughout the game, etc.

Midfield logos and end zone designs are part of the history and pageantry of college football. Also the fact that we mark our field every 5 yards where almost all overs mark only every 10 yards. And our goalposts are H-shaped. And, of course, our uniform.

I actually care a lot about all of that, and it seems like other fans do too.

I care about all those things at LSU, but what other schools do with their field and goal posts is of no interest to me whatsoever.

I do pay attention to fight songs (Notre Dame, Michigan and Wisconsin are great) and the songs the bands play after their team scores a touchdown, which is sometimes not the fight song (LSU's isn't). Florida and Tennessee ( not Rocky Top) are both very good.

And cheerleaders. Who doesn't notice cheerleaders, though I would argue that the visual quality of college cheerleading squads is in general decline. I also enjoy the different traditions and cheers at each school.

Midfield logos and end zones are just way, way down the list for me. I guess that's why I never pay attention to what other schools do.

I care too. That's why I don't want a logo from an Alvin's Island airbrushed tank top on the 50.

Congrats on reaching Tiger Ree levels of downvotes on a thread. This is not something that's easy to accomplish.

Now, even fewer can do it with his consistency, but with how garbage your takes are, I think you are fully capable of reaching those heights.

Nah, he should be given season tickets for life on the condition that he wears the Eye of the Tiger logo on either a shirt or a hat to every game. Failure to do so results in a ban for life. :)

I’m out at Alvin Island airbrushed tank top.

Forgot my user name and pw, but had to figure it out for this. Well done op, I’m kind of jealous. Lol

Don't mind me, just stopping in for a down vote and a good laugh. Dumbest post in a long time.
The song and the eye are iconic, as well as the helmets

That’s the most downvotes I’ve ever had the privilege of being involved in, I think I was somewhere in the mid 870s
