What a beast !

And their hitters look to be better-coached. They are selective and their two-strike approach seems to be very effective.

I'm sorry, but yes they're very gifted team. I wouldn't say more talent but they are a very good team. Just another reason why you can't take any baseball team lightly, as we did throughout the first eight innings. But I do believe that once we finish it off tomorrow morning, we won't be stopped.

I believe they had more players drafted day 1 than any SEC team, but I'm sure somebody will point out my mistake if I'm wrong.

Anyhow, right or wrong on that point they have good players, better hitters in general and are well coached. Radio said they would be #3 in the SEC behind LSU and USCe... But I don't remember what metric that was based on.

I have a feeling this rain is really going to screw up our pitching advantage, we need to win game 1 ASAP tomorrow.

I would also hate for Gausman's start to be interrupted with rain.

there is no question that they had a very good and simply game plan that was executed VERY well .. they showed tremendous patience at the plate .. their mechanics when batting are very good as well ... but, usually that kind of stuff can mean that they are masking other weaknesses in their team, usually ... but, i would definitely say lsu is more talented top to bottom especially pitching like everyone else said

SB is more talented at the plate, but LSU's pitching is better, although I haven't seen their ace.

I think LSU takes game 1 if they can keep SB off the board in the 12th. The 12th is the only thing I'm worried about. LSU can't be sleepwalking. Who is SB going to pitch? LSU has the bullpen advantage for game 1.

I don't think there's any doubt that their lineup is better than ours. Their bullpen obviously has issues. Their starting pitcher wasn't very good either but we struggled against him.

Hopefully we can close it out tomorrow. SBU will crush Eades.

this isn't a typical LSU team talent wise.

sure seems that way. i truly have come to the realization that we need coaching help with our hitters.

Better hitters, more power and better OFs. That's probably about where it ends as far as them being more talented. Overall? I'd say it's a wash. I thought Stoney was a VERY talented team going into the box and they had me worried. They just proved me right today. Really good baseball team. Look forward to more play. LSU needs to stop playing so goddamn flat and PM needs to GTFO with the terrible calls...

I agree. This LSU ball team is not stocked with our usual level of baseball talent. I'm very proud at what they have accomplished so far. In my opinion, they are winners and over-achievers.

MLB agrees with you. Several of them were drafted, one in the first round.

I would pitch Gausman in the 12th. Make other decisions after the game is over.

Based on what I'm seeing, LSU needs to hire SB's hitting coach away from them.
