re: Is It Going To Be Rocking In Death Valley This Weekend?

Death Valley is not what it once was. Especially after an opening loss and the way we’re looking.
The funny this is.. We still control our own destiny. Sure, we took one on the chin in California.
I seen some improvements against MSU. I know there are probably the people who didn't like how the MSU game played out, but I thought the defense did a good job against a Mike Leach offense. I hate to watch a "bend but don't break" defense, but that's how you have to defend the type of offense Leach runs.
We are a -3.5 favorite. We beat Auburn, we are 2-0 in the SEC and each week we can win thats another week we can continue to build on our strengths. The way this season is going.
Clemson is 2-2
Ohio St has a loss already
Oklahoma is a ugly 4-0
There are 4 really good mid major teams in the top 25 who might be just as good as one or two teams currently in the top 4.
There is a Razorback team that is 4-0 with big wins over Texas and Texas A&M.
There is a lot of season yet to go. This is still a young LSU team. Max Johnson has a QB rating 167.3. 15 TDs 3 INTs after 4 games as a true sophomore. 8 of those TDs were to Boutte.
The defense has improved and isn't as bad as last year. And yall are ready to throw in the towel already?
LSU fans sometimes makes me wish I had lifelong pride in another school. It takes a 2019 type season to make everyone happen and that isn't something that happens every year and if its not like the 2019 season everyone bitch bitch bitches about everyting.
Look Alabama is the exception to the rule in CFB. After having a season like 2019 sometimes it takes a few years to build things back up.
What happened to the pride? What happened to having a game day environment like no other place in the country, no matter what? I know the last year and a half has changed things, but control what you can and just enjoy life.. Have fun cheering for our Tigers because.. Believe it or not, the fans do play a factor in games... Especially SEC games. If we beat Auburn, then go to Kentucky and win.. We are 5-1 3-0 in the SEC with a home game against Florida. If we are 6-1 after Florida, this is a whole different season.
With Arkansas being the team they are, if Ole Miss is as good as expected, there is no telling what direction this season can go in.. And you are focused on how we looked? Are you factoring in the fact we are actually better today than we were the day we played UCLA?

People are on this relentless pursuit of recreating the 2003 Georgia game or 2007 Florida atmosphere. Some things are just no longer there. 2003 was almost 20 years ago and 2007 was 14 years ago. Sure it’ll be loud this weekend but it’s hard to replicate these epic games from the past. They are history.
Eh, Georgia 2018 was pretty damn epic. I rank it up there in atmosphere to many of the games I grew up going to in the 03 era.

You cry about something different in every thread. Such a pansy.

Well it likely won’t be full, and if the team doesn’t give the fans anything to cheer about- it definitely won’t be rocking.

Stadium was as loud as I’ve heard in years at the end of the 2017 Auburn game
Also remember the pregame melt about how UGA fans were allegedly buying up tickets and “invading” the stadium? It was all LSU noise that day.
