I think Fournette has finally calmed down and adjusted to the college game. This time last year, he was too amped up, and was just as likely to blast the back of his lineman as he was to break off a big run. This year, he's seeing the holes.

As you noted, it certainly helps his stats that the O line is solidifying. They changed the scheme last season (new coach), and I remember posting that it would take time for the players to adjust and get comfortable. They look like they're a lot more familiar with it now

I just listen to the experts and a SEC DB said he shouldn't be that hard to stop. I know he had some good stats against Auburn, but he had some lucky runs. Take out that first run that went for 71 yards and he only has 157yds.

Is Fournette simply the next... by undraftedDeMarco Murray? Y'all compare him to Herschel Walker or Bo Jackson, but I think the O-Line is the reason for his sudden success. LF7 is just reaping the rewards. How would he do with a different team?

If Fournette finishes the season with 1600-1800 yards you can expect to see at least one LSU offensive lineman on an All American list.

Ho many yards does Demarco Murray have this year?

His yards this year have nothing to do with his O line; but with the AMOUNT of carries Demarco had last year, idiot. Dallas ran him into the ground last year.

But if that's what your concern is; then go start a thread in the fantasy forum about Demarco's bad o-line this year compared to last year.

I agree man, just another hyped up running back that will not pan out on Sundays. See Mark Ingram, Reggie Bush, Darren McFadden, list goes on and on

186 of his 228 yards came after contact Saturday. Don't you dare disrespect LF by comparing him to a one hit wonder like Murray.

I agree. LSU's O-Line is so good that they've developed the ability to turn invisible and run down the field with Fournette and toss would-be tacklers off of him, creating the illusion that Fournette is breaking tackles by himself.
