Is doing away with the student section a good option?

still allow the students to attend by selling them tickets but the tickets are interspersed throughout the stadium. ie, put students in with the general population instead of segregating them.

You know the best part of all this bitching about tickets/stadium?
Nothing will change because LSU is still selling tickets like hot cakes. And that's all that matters. Money. All of these opinions on suggested changes are pointless because the program is incredibly successful and profitable.

Back in my day we had to walk through the snow 15 miles uphill both ways to get to the student section

Every student on that campus should have first dibs at every seat in that stadium before anyone else. Like the chants or not, the student section gives life to the stadium. without the students, that place would be like The Box on a Sunday afternoon vs a non conference opponent.
