No. He disappears for long periods of the game....rarely gets his name called....cant seem to get off blocks against guys his own size. If there is somebody better on the roster...put him in.

The fact that the 2 linebackers were, by far, the top 2 tacklers on the team is all you need to know about how good the DT's were. If the safeties were tops, then we have a problem.

All I'm saying is he just didnt seem to have a nose for the football and seemed to get pushed around at times.

Well, for us to be really good, he should be playing barely more than half the game anyway.. We should have good rotation this year so starters less important at DL

LaCouture hasn't really dominated like he thought he would. Was hoping he'd be another Kyle Williams. Solid, dominate DT while at LSU that went on to have the same solid, dominating NFL pro bowl career.

Average... Hasn't done anything worth mentioning since he has been at LSU. He is no Ego, Brockers, or Dorsey. Drake Nevis was more disruptive than this guy.

He reminds me of DT Nick Hayden of Dallas Cowboys. Smart player, physical...not gifted with crazy measurables, but with more strength/coaching, will be a solid rotation piece on D-line NFL once reaches it

His job is to take on blockers and free things up for the LBers, and he's done a good job of that. He's obviously not a Dorsey, Brockers, Williams, etc., but he's a good player. All of those guys were outstanding, LaCouture is a victim of the studs who came before him.
