Kind of mixed feelings about both tackles based on production against quality opponents.

Maybe it's how they were used in Steele's defense, but I don't think either were dominant.

Godcheaux was our best linemen as a freshmen.

People there is a reason LaCouture has been starting since his freshman year. That is because no one can beat him out and that sure in the hell ain't happening with him going into his senior year. Y'all do realize that we had zero rotation until late in the season when Herron and Gilmore started to step up. Him and Godchaux were taking all the snaps. The dude is 6'5 300 and will come in this year bigger and stronger.

People don't think he should start because people don't know what they're talking about.

He's quite good.

All about depth. Sure, he'll start, but we need to be able to rotate 7-8 guys.

He's played a lot of ball for us. He's a quality player and adds quality depth. Is he our best guy? No. Does he need to be? No. It wouldn't hurt if we had a couple more guys like him. He and Davon have had to play a lot of snaps. I think these guys will look better when there is more help. He's solid. No one said he's Glen Dorsey

Yes. This is what we were able to do when we were dominant.

Serviceable. He has benefited from lsu's decline on the dline.

Godcheaux is projected as a first rounder in mock drafts.

Exactly the problem...not gonna beat Bama with no Dorseys...

So we have potentially 6 future first rounders on D and we are doomed against bama? Lol

Godcheaux
Key
Beck
White
Adams
To liver

And more NFL talent than that...

If we're going to play a 3-4, then we need to have 6-8 guys who can play interchangeably all game long without losing quality - which is precisely what has hurt us since the 2011 team. 2016 is the first time that we'll have the kind of skill and depth we need in the Front Seven to compete for a championship.

That's way more important than who starts.

We should let the guy who's name tag says defensive line coach decide that
