Oh yeah, I'm already anticipating the

"Why we would want someone just fired" thread if this goes down.

My favorite part of this thread are the people saying they don't want the guy that quit giving ray rice the ball, yet pretty much everyone complains about us running the ball too much.

People just said they go way back.
Turner and Cameron both run Coryell based O.
I hope he can improve Mett's intermediate to deep percentages to make it work.

But they were discussing Cameron working as OC under NOrv Turner and simple google search is all you need to answer that.

Cam was QB coach in Washington when Turner was HC.

And they were talking about San Diego...

If the chemistry is right, you bet it could be. Will have to see how it all fits together.

If CC is hired Hill's first round potential is in jeopardy. Dude had Rice and was persistent on keeping the ball out his hands. Good for Mett though.

Who give a shite what he did with the Ravens, he is a real OC. Has to be 100% improvement.

Yep, coaching in the NFL and college are worlds apart.

I'm still skeptical. Theunknownknight and hurricane miles basically guaranteed that miles wouldn't make any offensive changes.

Hurricane also thinks that Miles has never had a 1-loss or better season.

I wouldn't judge what he will do in college (if hired, it isn't for sure) by what he did in the NFL.

My belief is that he won't deviate off his game plan whether it be college or pros. Hopefully if it is true he sees what he has and runs a truly balanced attack. LSU is stacked on offense next year, straight up.

Will see. It's literally a whole new ballgame. LSu can probably win 75% of their games without ever throwing a pass, but I'm pretty sure we will see some balance. I doubt with Miles as HC you will see an unbalanced offense tilted toward the passing game.

besides his rookie year...Rice had over 1100 yards every season and over 1300 yards twice with over 250 carries every one of those years.

LSU fans aggravate the shite out of me sometimes

That's Miles's style man. Grind it out, Big 10 style. Works most of the time but with the quality of coaches in the SEC it has to be tampered with sometimes. Personally I would like to see a more vertical attack out of the play action game.

People forget that we use to air it out when we had a good QB. Fans are so dumb.

Hopefully he can design plays for us, they have been way too simplistic the last couple years
