I don't know about the rest of you, but Dec 30 to Jan 13 had me worried about the future of LSU football. Now that our new hires have sunk in, I love the energy that we have pumped back into the program.

August can't come fast enough!!!

I feel a tad better about 2015, but I'm really waiting to see if Coach O can bring in the big in-state DTs we need for 2016.

The question every single offseason will be how far can the QB's take us? Until we get proven otherwise, that will continue to be the weak point in our team.

I feel much better than I did a week ago. I was waiting to see the thread where Hawkins and Vadal officially declared for the draft, but it never came!

Let's see how the recruiting class finishes up. LSU certainly has a ton of potential for 2015.

Defense will be better and Aggy will eat big time crow. Everything hinges on the o-line and QBs. 2015 is our year for the taking.

Nope, still concerned. Dumpster fire of a coaching staff has a lot of work to do.

This thread is a reboot of about 15 other threads that have been posted the past week.

That being said. Im feeling a lot better about 2015. Heard earlier a story about coach o and steele already recruiting a Nigerian kid in alabama and his highschool coach said he walked into his office to see Coach O in a three point stance teaching his kid new moves.

Recruiting game is strong with this one.

No, not a lot better, really. At least the new DC will give us something to pay attention to beyond the obvious, A No. 1 priority for 2015. Miles and Cameron are in a deep hole trying to fix our offense, and our one and only hope is that they somehow coach up our QB's to be SEC-caliber.

A lot.....No

Marginally.....Yes

More unsure than anything. While he will likely improve the LB play, Steele was still an underwhelming hire to me. I think that's because some of the "candidates" that were brought up were more exciting IMO.

I am excited to see how the front develops under O and Steele, however. Should be an improvement over 2013 and 2014.

The most optimistic creature known to man is a sports fan during the off season.

The new coaching hires are reasonably solid but we'll have to wait to see if the anticipated recruiting prowess produces results.

QB is still the big ? and we're not likely to know a thing until after the spring. With Les, probably not even then.

I'll feel better after the press conference today that says they are definitely staying.

No, unless I missed the signing of Braxton Miller.

What ever happened to that announcement that mills declared. I remember hearing it once or twice but then it went away.

And just to check the list only Kwon and Hunter have declared so far. Correct me if im wrong, but we could be STACKED in the secondary next year if mills stays.
