I can’t remember another AD making these many mistakes and keep their job for this long.

He might agree to touch you. See what you can work out for the right price.

If he’s beholden to the good ole boy network, he’s untouchable.

The only way they’ll sacrifice him is if thousands of fans come for the BOS and admin with pitchforks.

football is making money, the president doesn't give a rat's butt about football, and the mistakes are exaggerated. Alleva will have to do much worse to get fired.

People barely go to the games as is. I wonder what attendance will look like when they lose 5-6 games next year.

Bottom line is that the LSU leadership from the BOS and the president don’t care about championships.

An example of a school that will stop at nothing to win is aTm. They have dumped historic cash into top flight facilities, and paid what it takes to get a proven championship coach. They’ll get there.
LSU doesn’t have the same level of accountability from leadership higher than the AD.

Just his handling of the Duke LaCrosse farce when AD there should have been enough to pass on the man.

That and then:
- Hiring Trent Johnson
- Hiring Johnny Jones
- Hiring Ed O
- Hia handling of the Les situation
- Completely ruining the greatest game day experience in college athletics
- Hiring Nikki Caldwell
- Handling of then Florida situation in ‘16
- Damn near losing PM to Texas because he wouldn’t give him a video bitch

Before anyone comes here and says Will Wade- Eddie Nunez handed Allevas dumbass Will Wade on a silver platter.

Neither do the majority of the LSU fan base.

You are right LSU is not committed to winning championships but only wants to be competitive. Look for LSU to fall to 3rd or 4th in the SEC West every year for the next decade. Alleva is really not a very good AD. It shows.

Only thing that’s going to wake them up is the bottom line. With the new tax law making donations non-deductible if you receive ticket upgrades and the football program burning more money on a daily basis it won’t be long.

You dug your own grave Joe.

He is not and the Canada situation will be his final warning. JA 's tenure is tied to O. JA needs to make sure O is successful and the Canada situation as it has played out proves once again JA is not the man for the LSU job-

BOS taking note

Alleva is good friends with some prominent boosters/BoS members. He ain’t getting canned unless he does something that directly costs the university millions, or does something illegal.

I agree with you.

Headed back to the 90s. I’ll have to find a new fall hobby.

I think you stand corrected - the BOS has never been in love with any AD-

JA has a job to due- he is not the HC of any sport

He is expendable like we all are-

He should have never been touched.

Speaking of which, can we arrange for a #metoo with this guy?
