Is 2018 Alabama that good? In your opinion? What's our chances of winning?

I say they are one of the best teams in history. Regardless of how good tuas receivers are, I have seen that kid make plays that drew brees and Tom brady would be jealous of. Real shite, watch some if his highlights. Every pass, so long as his receiver doesn't get snagged up on the line, are absolute dimes. The speed that he goes through his progressions is unreal. I watched one play when he spin moved out of a sack and dropped a dime mid spin on one leg while looking at the field for about .1 seconds. I laughed in disgust...

Of course anyone is beatable, and this is the most confidence I have ever had in LSU since 2011 and 2013. I'm 23 and have never seen a team look that good, I've watched alot replays of games prior to 2000 and I dont think I have ever seen a team that looks like 2018 Alabama. The only downside i see to this team is a weaker than usual defense, but i dont know if that is even true. Hell it's pretty hard to care about holding your opponent to lezs than 10ppg when your offense is scoring 55ppg.

LSU is the best team Alabama will play all year, barring maybe Ohio state in the playoffs. LSU has every handicap in their favor to beat Alabama in their favor. Home field advantage, coming off a bug win, and going against an injured Tua. But i still say we lose this game 9/10 times. If it was in Tuscaloosa I would say 19/20... BUT, if LSU shows up like it did vs Georgia past weekend, then I give LSU about a 50% chance of winning. I sure as hell hope we show up!

All in all I still do feel very confident going up against Alabama, more so than I did last year.

Let's beat moo state, then bring down goliath.

We aren't suiting up and playing in that game. WE don't matter one single bit.

They’re good, Tua seems really good.. but

They have really only played one legit team, aTm.. all others have been cupcakes. ULL, Arkansas state, Louisville etc

This is the best Bama team I have seen yet. But LSU on a sat night with 2 weeks to prepare and this squad will still be a very tough game. We do have a shot in this thing.

If you look at how the offense performs when Tua is in I don't care if every game they played is against McNeese

They have scored TDs on 34/52 Tua drives. That % would be ridiculous if you were starting in the red zone. That's all drives!

Tua is good there is no doubt about that, However i think Saban pushes him to the limits with the knee injury and it turns into a major injury kinda like you saw at mizzou the other day, an MCL sprain can easily turn into a tear with one wrong move.

I dont think their D is the same Bama D they are used to having, they are giving up points to lesser opponents, but you have to take into consideration that they put in backups half way through the game.

In all honesty I like our chances, we always play them tough at home and this offense we have is better with burrow than previous offenses. With both teams going on bye weeks i think Ensminger will have a pretty good game plan and come up with some wrinkles to spread their D out. I think we have a 40-50% chance of winning this game maybe even more!

We need to concentrate on Moo St first

Bama is really, really good.

However, I think without Tua, they are beatable. Jalen is much easier to game plan around. Bama is foolish is they take a chance with Tua against Tennessee this week IMO. But, I’d imagine he’ll play some.

Any team is beatable.

But, if we show up like we did for UGA, and instead of 5 field goals, we turn 3 of those into TDs...TIGERS WIN

I think Alabama has put tremendous pressure on teams through precise offensive execution.

This has made other teams fold quickly due to such high percentage effectiveness.

This makes Bama great.

However, I’m interested to see how they respond if this doesn’t happen early. They’ve been so dominant on the offensive side of the ball that they’ve been able to mask some deficiencies on defense.

They are beatable, but it’s going to take Tiger Stadium, DBU, a strong run game and some luck to win.

Honestly I dont think they have much of a chance, so long as we show up at 50% capacity or better. Especially after last year blowout, I think we are going to pull off one of our own. Their passing game is inept, and they posses a service le run game at best. Whereas we have one of the best pass defenses in the country, and a VERY good run defense as well. We will play a balanced defense to start, with a good bit of blitz. After Dave sees they cant pass we will probably start loading the box, just like we did against Georgia.

37-10 LSU is what I think this game is going to be.

I absolutely agree that they have played no one with a pulse. Although it doesn't really matter, you can see just how good tuas accuracy is, how good their oline is, and just home much separation and catching ability their receivers have. Our only chance in my opinion is dropping back 8 and hope we can stop the pass. I personally dont see us pressuring tua with a 4 man pass rush, and if we rush 5+ we are going to get slaughtered through the air. Aranda is going to have to use very exotic and well digused blitz packages to even have a chance of putting pressure on tua before his release.
