China and America are both dependent on each other. Everyone knows this. That doesn't mean they're going to ditch Iran.

China has explicitly declined to honor the new U.S. sanctions against Iranian airlines.
As of September 24, 2026:
China said on September 22 that it opposes the U.S. sanctions, calling them illegal and saying they lack U.N. Security Council authorization. ?

Iranian airlines are still flying to China. A Mahan Air flight from Tehran landed in Guangzhou on September 23, after the U.S. deadline took effect. ?

Iranian flights to Chinese destinations, including Shanghai and Guangzhou, were still operating on September 24. ?

This is in contrast to countries such as the UAE, which suspended Iranian airline flights specifically to comply with the U.S. sanctions.

If he didn’t respect the US and its current leadership, he probably would not shite on us, but he definitely would not do anything that would portray respect for either.
