My wife is right at 9 months pregnant with our first child, and I fly out in the morning for New Orleans and come back Tuesday night. (we live in Tampa) Being that there is a good chance she could give birth during the game, will they let me bring my Ipad into the dome so we can atleast facetime it? I know it sounds "dickish" that I leave but... she knew of my fanaticism when we married!

I hope you're playing in the game. Or at least giving a HUGE contribution to the game somehow. I hope you're just not a regular fan.

Dude, NO! The game over your first child's birth? Really?
It sounds dickish because it is. Doesn't matter what she knows about your fan hood. That's your kids birth. Come'on man!

Uh... you hope I'm not for real for wanting to facetime it, or that I'm actually leaving??? Because I am. And, I guess I'm just a fan, but I am an Alumni. I should probably also make it known that my wife is an Auburn alum. Does that change things?

P.S. My flight leaves at 7AM CST and I just can't sleep for the excitement!!

You won't be able to get fast enough speed from either cellular or wifi in the dome (if it exists) to facetime.
Not even close. You will probably have trouble getting text messages and calls through.

Oh well that changes everything !!!!

You should be ashamed at risking the possibility of missing the birth of your first child.

This can't be fo-real....

You have life reversed. You should be with your wife and watching the game on the screen....

Well ok dude, but that is the birth of your child. I just hope you REALLY thought about this. Congratulations, hope the kid chooses to root for the Tigers that his dad roots for.

Dude go be with your wife during child birth

What memory do you think will last longer, your child breathing for the first time or LSU winning a championship?

You dont have to listen to me obviously but you probably wont hear the end of it if you do

You can bring an IPad in, but cell signal will be impossible... I was at the NO Bowl, and some parents had an IPad that they were letting their toddler play angry birds or some shite on... guess it kept him occupied and not wanting to wander.

Yup... Dude's wife will forever be telling people about her shitty husband that skipped the birth of their child for a football game.

Whoa... "a football game" This is not just a football game... I've got to be honest, I didn't expect so much push back from this forum. Believe you me, I'm hoping she holds out until the end of the week like our doctor projects. If our doc said it's coming in the next few days I would change things, but the vibe I'm getting it will be toward the weekend and if I stayed and she didn't pop I would hate that I missed the game. And it's a little late now to ship my ticket out to someone!

You don't have to ship a ticket.

You can sell it with the barcode on the sugarbowl website.

your first born will resent you & LSU. He will be an Auburn fan for life...
