If she has the baby you will forever regret it. Worse and God forbid. And I sincerely do mean God forbid, what if something happens and you aren't there for her.

You are being selfish

This is what I was thinking too, there is no routine delivery...hope everything goes well but sometimes the unexpected happens and what if there are problems and decisions must be made. And even if everything goes great, it's still very traumatic and she needs your support...and your kid....would never forgive you for missing his birth...for a football game, even this one...

Wow man I feel bad for your wife and kid. You re wacko.

I didnt want to be the one to bring this up but this. If something, even a just a scare or minor complication, happened could yo possibly imagine enjoying the game? And can you imagine if you missed that and werent there for your wife?

He's a pretty bad husband

Seriously. No joke.

I'm sure she did say it would be okay but I guarantee you that while he heard her he didn't truly listen to her.

If you tell her tomorrow that you are gonna skip the game, it will be worth it. She will definitely make it worth your while.

I have the solution; send me the ticket. I will attend the game and represent you, your wife, and your newborn child. Your wife will love you, I will love you, and your child will respect you for life and garner a football scholarship to LSU. It don't get no better than that. My address is 623 Railroad Avenue Donaldsonville, La.

No ones a bigger lsu/saints fan than me and I wouldn't miss any of my kids births for football even if it was the super bowl and I had sideline passes and Sean Payton let me call the first play

HEY! Now that's just not fair. I am an amazing husband and my wife would call and tell you the same as she's on the way to drop me off at the airport in the morning!! She deeply respects me and my (perhaps too fanatical) love for the tigers and she wouldn't have this either other way. It was even in our wedding vows! When my ticket arrived in the mail she instantly called me at work to tell me it arrived and how pretty it was!

You are an immature and self-absorbed, spoiled sorry excuse for a husband.

My wife's heart unexpectedly stopped during childbirth and she lost all blood pressure and conciousness. In an emergency, the doctors looked to me for a split second decision: save the child or save my wife if it came to that.

That will be a really swell decision for you to make over your iPad.

Oh, the doctors saved both my wife and my child, but had I not been there and witnessed or lived through the most terrifying ten minutes of my life to attend a fricking football game I would never have forgiven myself and I expect my in-laws would never have forgiven me either.

Appreciate you as a fan, but you're a dick if you leave her at this stage to go to the game.

Don't hey me for speaking the truth. Your priorities are screwed up and while this may be nothing in the end and all is well, if you continue to act this way, your family will end in disappointment.

Don't go to the game. This certainly won't be the last time the tigers are in the national championship game. even though she says you can go she really wants you to stay. Come on man up and be there for her.
