Our pinch hitters always look lost. I wonder if that would have been a more high leverage situation if we possibly could have seen Skenes at the plate there .

This should be a wake up call for Johnson. Iowa’s coach allowed a lefty to throw 90 pitches out of the pen agains’t our “dominant bats”. Start learning how to hit lefties or we’re not going far. It’s that simple.
