Charles looks like a mean dude. So was that the unit that played the most snaps on Saturday? Several posters have stated that the O-line looked much improved. Overall, I agree with the exception of running the ball up the middle.

I hope they keep this unit together. KJ and Toby could learn a thing or two from these two young tackles.

If these guys stay healthy we are going to have an incredible line for the next 2-3 years.

Even though Toby and KJ are more experienced, if they continue to miss time and then you insert them in for say the Bama game, you have two guys who have not played competitive football in a month. This makes Charles and Magee seem like better options regardless.

This is our best OL. We're awesome sat. Screw Malone playing. Got beat every time on pass blocking. Weathersby is to soft and weak keep this line

Next year,

LT - Charles
LG - Brumfield
C - Clapp
RG - Ingram
LT - Magee or Deculus

Either way we should have depth if we stay healthy. Weathersby will be a SR. Still have Cushenberry, Campbell, Savage and incoming so far, Hines, Smith and Wire.

Can't disagree with you here. Malone(and I'm not bashing the kid) almost quit football. He is not a LT, and should have never been put in that spot but had to due to lack of depth. Was always a G. I always thought Weathersby was soft. He appears to be even softer with his injury problems.

Is Clapp being overtaken at C for next year?

Surely he is not going pro early.

The meanest sumbitch on that OL is Clapp. His dad was mean too.

Charles was killing Clapp. Just a fact, observable fact. The move to OT with Ingram next to Clapp has had a good effect. As long as Charles has the footwork to keep going, well... if it ain't broke don't fix it.
