I know your question wasn’t directed at me, but take it or leave it...

Defensive, combative, narcissistic attitude in the way he posts. Nothing personal, as I don’t know the guy—might be a real softie for all I know—I just don’t care for the way he conducts himself on this site.

If you like these threads, that’s fine, and you’re welcome to defend them/Ree. For me it’s all in how he reacts after we respond to them—not the threads themselves (mostly). He is who he is, though. And if he wants to anoint himself the supreme intelligence of tigerdroppings.com then that’s his deal. Another poster, PensaTigers, put it perfectly:

quote:

"awkward Anime teen who thinks his life is a curse because he's surrounded by morons but can't take an objective look at his failure in social intelligence and crippling insecurity he rationalizes away but always haunts the back of his mind".

Why are you answering a question with a question? I asked a question and you didn't give a answer.

But hey I will play along. I do not know nor do I care what other out of state programs are doing as far as camps. I would think that some other states are doing similar things as far as the major in state program working with the smaller schools but I do not know. Orgeron has a done a good job with this in bringing the smaller state schools together. From Louisiana Tech's standpoint it is smart and makes all the sense in the world. Ed O is going to appear at the camp representing LSU. He is the head coach at the flagship state school in Louisana and from the best conference in the nation. Putting his name on the fliers will attract more talent. Even the talent that has no shot at LSU but still dreams of what if. Then Louisiana Tech can snatch up that talent for their program.

Again, you say it is interesting but do not answer the question. I will wait for your answer, Thanks in advance!!!!

I'll share something that should help you for the long run. You know, the old give someone a fish vs teaching them how to fish.

My ole Pappi always told me, "Tiger Ree, you can lead a ranter to an answer but you can't make them think".

SMH, sweet cheeks I like reading the real content you post from inside the program and the behind the scenes photos. That is great and all and I get that you are paid to pump sunshine but at least don't attack people who are objectively fair. But you keep up the good work Emily.

Sorry, but I don't know how many times you have looked at the graphic in question. If you can't figure out what is interesting about it I CANNOT HELP YOU. That should have been done by someone else or you sometime during your developmental years.

My apologies if you are still in that stage of your life. IT IS NOT my job to make you smart enough to realize the most obvious things in life.

Ree, you're menstruating again.

I know what is "interesting" about the graphic....

Coach 0 pic in use is not the Official Ree-Sanctioned Stretchy Pic.

What do I win?

Finally, someone who can actually converse on the issue.

quote:

Defensive, combative, narcissistic attitude in the way he posts

I've never seen this in his OPs. However, I have seen him be defensive and combative in his response to others' hatred and idiocy. But I definitely do not agree with the word "narcissist" - I think this is overplaying the narcissist card. EVERYONE on here would come off as a narcissist if this is how they talked to people in real life. It's the internet...

quote:

More often than not, he has interesting OPs. How he responds to others is irrelevant to me. There's a lot of idiots and nega-pussies on here and I don't respond to them in kind myself. frick em.

quote:

"awkward Anime teen who thinks his life is a curse because he's surrounded by morons but can't take an objective look at his failure in social intelligence and crippling insecurity he rationalizes away but always haunts the back of his mind".

I disagree that this is "put perfectly". I think it's just word salad for word salad's sake. There's no substance to it. It's just a big arse, wordy, unjustifiable claim.

Have an upvote

You are correct.

So your win of the day is related to sour grapes about ULL football?

Dude... stop and think for 1 minute - why do you downvote Ree's posts? IF you answer that here, you must post links showing what you mean. And don't post gray area bullshite links. Also, if you claim that Ree "should do" this or "should do" that, post links of examples of other people doing those things.

What in the ever living hell is this???

I don't even know where to begin. You are the opposite of a narcissist and should seek help. You really do idolize me. Ha Ha Ha Ha !!!!

So let's see, this opposite of a narcissist would be characterized by the following:

-altruistic, demonstrating selfless service to the welfare of others
-humbleness
-empathetic
-considerate
-low need for admiration

Only you would think that someone that has the above traits needs help.

Given the choice, I suspect most kids in Louisiana would prefer to play for LSU over any other state school. Tech knows this. But they also know not every kid is going to be good enough to play for LSU. If they can build a relationship with a kid who is a really good player, but maybe just not quite good enough (at least right out of HS) to play for LSU, then the camp benefits them. The chance to impress Ed Orgeron is going to bring out more kids than simply just a chance to impress La. Tech's coaching staff.
I believe this is a very smart move on Tech's part. They are arguably the 2nd best football program in LA already. If not, they are certainly capable of getting there. They realize that they are not in competition with LSU since they wouldn't be getting the kids that LSU wants anyway. However, if Tech teams up with LSU's brand as the next best alternative for the kids who don't make the cut, they could land more kids than they could get on their own.

Also, as well as O has bee been recruiting lately and especially the way he is recruiting nationally, there will probably be even more left over LA talent than there used to be. I'd love all of those guys to go play for Skip at Tech.
