No that makes sense, the league is just so established in so many ways i never gave that part of it much thought. To me right now it’s just a matter of transition. There’s are a lot of new coaches and some programs are adjusting with others like Arky and Ole Miss essentially having to climb back from the grave.

I'm beginning to think this is your kid on here. He writes as if he is a 15 year old kid, and constantly goes way off topic, and makes statements about other posters that were never said or even implied. That part in itself is very telling on the intelligence level. Anyone with a brain sees what he is. The truth is, the sec is as strong as it has ever been. The rankings and results prove that. There are a few teams that can and do challenge top teams in conference, but the overall conference. No. It is still head and shoulders above. Clemson is very good. That doesn't make the ACC good, at all. I don't post anything that is off base, and I'm not going to choose vulgarity and name-calling. Anybody with a brain sees through these type of posters. You have a good day man and stay dry.

Your stupidity is only rivaled by Buckeye. Nothing you say is correct and you don’t know a thing about college football. You don’t even know the difference between actual records and opinion polls.

You mean just like your assertion that I said or even implied that the SEC wasn't the premier conference?

I simply posted facts on the conference breakdown. Which back up sec dominance. He attacked, you came in and said hard to argue. What was hard to argue, my facts? His attacks against the facts? Sec? I mean come on dude, troll some more. This dude can't even create a grammatically correct sentence. You get a guy like me, actually discusses football, and posts facts on topic, and you support a troll. Again, very telling. I understand this is a game to you. Whatever floats your boat I guess. Me, I'm more into facts and common sense. Tell your kid to stay in school. He needs it.

“I'm not going to choose vulgarity and name-calling.”

-“He is 100% troll. Either that, or he has less common sense than my 6 year old grandkid.”

-“He is nothing but a troll. Probably not sec, at that.”

-“The fact you agree with this clown that the sec is weak, with what, 6 teams ranked in top 15. Lol. Very telling.”

-“I'm beginning to think this is your kid on here. He writes as if he is a 15 year old kid, and constantly goes way off topic, and makes statements about other posters that were never said or even implied. Lmfao and then there was this gem.....

“I don't post anything that is off base”

-“Alabama was up about 50 points on Oklahoma early and pretty much quit. That's even according to Saban.”

Add another one to the hypothetical, lying, no self awareness scumbag posse. Come to think of it you maybe Buckeyes Alter, only Buckeye comes close to this combo of stupidity and blatant shameless lying.

You disqualify head to head records, records vs power 5 schools, post season records, titles, playoff games and any other fact posted but your response is always post season opinion polls and made up stats that are never correct.

Tell me how many banners have you seen in your time that say #6 team in any given year? How many titles and trophies do post-season 10th ranked teams take home? How many teams ranked 6th after the year is over are in position to make a run at a title?

All of this pretty much true. For frick's sake you think finishing AP #6 trumps an SEC Championship in basketball.

There is nothing in that post about the SEC not being the premier conference at all.

Then he comes back with “I posted all facts and records that prove SEC dominance”

The guy didn’t post a single stat and if he knew anything about college football or the SEC he’d know that we’re currently in the weakest era of SEC football. Since the split in 1992 this is the lowest winning percentage for the conference. Then he keeps insulting you, then me to you (weirdo) while telling you how much of a good person he is. Wtf happened to this place, when did Jame Gums relatives all decide to start posting on the Rant?

I'm sure you have a reason, but why just the top 5?

Why the top 10? If anything, I would think that the SEC is the best conference because of the top to bottom competition relative to the other conferences.

I am glad that you and I agree that the SEC is the best football conference.

Yea I guess when Barry Sanders rushed for 2,628 yards and 39 TDs in 11 games, the Heisman should’ve really gone to Tony Rice and his 1,176 yards passing and 8 TDs.

Are you suggesting people be consistent in their standards and judgments? Some of our “friends” might not agree but then they’d claim they did lol.

I know this is out there, but maybe because some teams only have 10? Wow. I did the top, and overall.

As I said, I thought you had a reason. You could have just used win percentage instead of cutting off each conference at 10 because the Big 12 has only 10 teams. As I said, it seems like that would strengthen your argument, but we would have to see the numbers to verify. I would have to think that the bottom 4 of the SEC is as strong or stronger than other conferences.

I honestly try and be objective. I really didn't need it strengthened anyway. Most people realize it would be even stronger using all teams. I stopped at 10 due to consistency. Of course, most people realize that Vandy and Missouri aren't reflecting sec strength overall. In fact, I'd pick ok st over Missouri most years, and Baylor and vandy a coin flip.

I know you do and I enjoy our back and forth even when it's overly juvenile. We pretty much agree on the football aspect a lot. It's just the other crap that we disagree on. When the season gets closer, I'm not gonna be having fun with all of that anymore. It's just to help the off-season go by faster.

SEC has a 58% win pctg vs the B12 this decade. Most of those were bowl matchups, so it's usually the higher echelon B12 teams.
