Make sure we all throw the Horns Down week 2. I'm gonna buy a Texas Mardi Gras necklace and flip the horns upside.

Nothing OU does is worth mimicking. Sorry but no.

Producing Heisman winners would be nice.

Does this count as a horns down?

Touche. But I'm not defining my team's identity by being against another team. That's just kind of stupid and a little bit trashy. Always has been. Typical OU. At least A&M came up with their own hand signal.

A Heisman trophy needs a Natty ring next to it to have any football cred.

I think Joe Burrow would say the sane thing.

How about making the playoff? Lincoln Riley has done it in his first two years as head coach.

Right. But from the Big-12. LSU could make the playoffs from the Big-12

There have been times when the SEC is a lot stronger than other conferences and where our 3rd and 4th place teams could’ve won almost any other league. Right now and especially the last couple seasons isn’t one of those times. The era we’re currently in has been the weakest for the SEC in over 35 years and the numbers prove that. It’s been shown several times here with the drastic decline from teams like Ole Miss, State, ATM, Tennessee and Arkansas. Maybe this season will start the process of rebuilding the conference with coaches like Jimbo Fisher, Kirby Smart, and Dan Mullen improving programs in each division. The SEC was 6-5 in bowls last season and 4-5 the year before so these claims that the SEC is still a far superior conference to any other are just plain untrue.

As long as they players don’t. I imagine they’ll call it unsportsmanlike

Wouldn't be that tough in big 12. We play their only tough team this year. They will be somewhere between our 3rd and 5th toughest game.

Nothing to see here. According to damone, schedules don't matter.

Please don't engage with madking. Not only is he not an lsu fan, he is not sec either. He is 100% troll. Either that, or he has less common sense than my 6 year old grandkid.

So they beat one Good SEC team.. Vandy and Missouri are hardly normal/good SEC teams. And UGA could have cared less after losing the SEC champ game against Bama. Your overall point is correct. The SEC top to bottom is a couple ticks down from the peak years. Still had some solid out of conference regular season wins against power five schools. Miami. Washington. And others

OU started the horns down long ago. Try to come up with y'all own idea when y'all come.

I don't see the point in trying to come up with something like that for a non-conference, non-rival opponent. I agree though, definitely don't steal another team's tradition either. I'm just gonna scream at the TV real loud like I always do.
