More athletic, better passer, he will be ready to compete with Nuss once Daniels leaves.

This board is nuts.

This isn’t true, and isn’t close to being true.

Collins won’t play at QB for LSU

Agreed, based off of potential and high end ceiling... Ricky Collins is the better prospect. Anyone who doesn't see that doesn't see football, in my humble opinion.

please explain, considering he’s never even taken a snap for LSU

He's got a better arm, better frame, more athletic, and doesn't have a drama queen dad who demanded his son be redshirted the first year and then transfers out the second. That is some straight pussy ish... If you're a true baller.

To be fair, if he had taken a snap at LSU, his comment couldn’t possibly be true.

I watched the Woodlawn/Zachary game on ESPN, he is a great athlete but not a very good passer. He seems like the kind of QB that if the 1st read isn't there, he stands and waits for the pocket to break down then run. Kinda like JD5.

But with JD5 there were games where he was getting the ball out fast on time and hitting the quick timing routes. If we get that JD5 consistently, we will have another great season. I think he improves on this.

There's this new thing out there that's getting lots of rave reviews.........called coaching.

The expectation we have on high schoolers to come in polished products is insane

Will he be here in 2024?

In 2024 Colin Hurley will be here if he stays committed. He is the real deal.

I'm just glad that BK doesn't let TD ranters and the parents of privilege kids run the program. I like that he has Saban and Smart like focus on how to run a program. Collins being better than Howard is subjective... but both are a dime a dozen. Herb Tyler and Joe Burrow have been the last two most impactful QBs at LSU and if Jaden Daniels can exceed his ceiling, he may be in that faint number. All said, Howard made a decision not to wait and/or compete and that's his choice. LSU will be fine without him, you whiners are basing your opinions on the fantasy of him being the next Joe Burrow... won't happen. There is only one! That is all. Carry on!

Have you seen Collins play? Been to games with Howard and Collins. Collins looked better and reminds me of the new QBs throwing at all angles and very athletic. Kid may be “raw “ as I’ve read in places but he’s the real deal .
