"legit" qb's are hard to find in college or pros. while Mett was our last legit guy, he fell very short until his last year and even then w/o those NFL first round picks would not have been that legit, imo.
i'm gonna say matt Flynn AND he had several years in the system before he was able to start.

I think Flynn was a better all around college football quarterback. Mettenberger had a better arm, but was immobile and I don't think he was as proficient at running an offense as Flynn was.

Well your opinion is shite. He was a projected third round pick until he blew up his knee thanks to the o line. He was undoubtedly a legit quarterback who could make every throw, including into tight spaces, short or long, touch or bullet. He had more talent than Flynn as a gunslinger, he's just a fricking statue while Flynn actually had mobility.
