In the 2019 NC game, Clemson chose to be the hunter for 60 minutes.

This alone is the biggest factor in beating Bama. Let's face it, Bama is and has been as good as advertised. But, and this is a BIG but, Bama's Biggest advantage is intimidation. Clemson wasn't more talented than Bama in this game, the talent level was incredible for both. Clemson just chose to be the one's doing the intimidating. Georgia did this twice and it worked. What Georgia didn't do, is do it for 60 minutes. In both games, they chose to not lose the game the last 30 minutes.

This type of attitude is and will be the difference for LSU come November 9th. Thoughts?

I mean, I can text this to Coach O if you want...maybe he can get Derek to print it out and post it in the Ops building.

Yeah, definitely not their roster full of 5 stars or the best coach in CFB history

Clemson DL was absolutely dominant vs. Bama's O line. It's the one place Clemson had a huge talent/ matchup advantage. It mattered big time.

I agree with you. If you get Bama in the ropes you need to keep swinging until the bell rings and the referee pulls you off. You can lose this way (ask Jamie Howard about Auburn), but your odds are much better.

This OP was about the one thing that Bama has always seemed to have a Big advantage of in games. Yes, they are always loaded with 5 star talent. But, when a team decides to not be intimidated by them, we know what happens.

BS. Clemson had a great defensive line. When those guys were on, nobody was going to beat them.

Clemson won because Lawrence and the freshman receiver made several mind-boggling plays.

Everything else was a wash.

Clemson's veteran Oline held Bama's front well enough to let Trevor Lawrence go to work.

Clemson won the battle on the LOS, and that's where the game was won. Everything that came after was gravy.

I agree. Gotta play violent for 4 quarters no matter the score. Even if we are up by three TDs we gotta play like we are down by three TDs. Play like we have nothing to lose. I want a good ole fashion skull dragging.

Their D line was dominant and that WR for Clemson made some several catches that were incredible.

How exactly does a team turn on the intimidation in an effort to overcome a talent deficit?
