In terms of timing why didn't Woodward take the kids into consideration?

Seems like he could have waited until the tournament was over. Now the kids are all distracted and potentially could have the opportunity of an NCAA tournament bid taken away if Woodward forces them to bow out.

The timing was a really bad move for the kids.

He may not of had a choice. No one knows what’s being said behind the scenes.

Swift action to try and appease the NCAA, so they swing the hammer slightly easier, is my guess.

I am sure the fact the noa was going to get out due to the foia request was why it was done now. With the extra info in it the distraction would be huge. The press conferences would be a no stop question to wade on it.

Woodward is probably trying to save LSU some grief from the NCAA by taking swift action. I’m assuming the evidence of wrongdoing is severe!

Regardless the timing is a really selfish move by whatever leader forced the decision.

Could of called all the players on a zoom call… and say we are going public with firing wade. How hard is that?

Did you read the allegations? They were posted. It read very ominous but it was probably just Wade telling his wife to pay for recruits hotel, meals and gas money. Something that I have personally done hiring people and have had done to me.

It would have still been swift after 4 years of investigation if Woodward would have waited a month.

I don’t think it is as selfish as you think. With the noa out with the foia requests all spotlight would be on wade and what he did. Every press conference for the tournament would be littered with questions. What will happen to wade questions would have been constant. Now the players can go play and not worry if wade will be there or not. Go play without pressure of trying to help wade keep his job. Nickleberry has been there all year. Recruited many of the guys

Hello! Scott was hired fo look out for the university not the players. That’s the coaches job.

That's a terrible outlook. You lookout for the players/students you are looking out for the university by default.

What’s the difference between losing the first game and the second. This team isn’t going to do anything huge in the tournament
