Surely Pelini’s D was worse.

The last time we saw such poor tackling by an LSU defense was back during the Hallman exercise in futility here.

Been a long stretch since those days.

Kelly said "we should be pissed about this."

Ok, we are. Now what?

For all intents and purposes the season is over as goes the playoffs.

What record would at least take some of the sting out of this from a school that's earned a well-deserved status/image for itself that fans and other backers could now legitimately expect at least a chance for a national championship even in the course of the latter stages of the season.

For football, that aspiration is gone for this year - and it was over relatively early in the campaign.

The major sport at the school has jolted the euphoria and brought us back to a reality nobody wanted.

Maybe someone will be so indulgent of our masochistic wishes as to compile the total missed tackles from last night's "contest". Ole Piss scored so easily so many times it reminded of a dummy drill, but who were the dummies?

Uh... Lou Tepper says hello.

It's tough to argue against 700 yards, which is historically bad.

Terrible defensive performance. Way to much talent on defense to be that horrible.

You are 100% correct, I have never seen a group of defensive backs scared to make contact.

You missed every math class ever?
First, that was an undefeated UGA National Championship team.
Ole Miss ain't.
UGA scored 50 points and that was off of three LSU turnovers.
THe defense "only" gave up 520 yards against UGA and gave up 711 last night.
This same Ole Miss offense was held to ten points by Bama

No way I'm buying a 75+ year old on TD

Well, I’ll be 93 the 26th of next month and last night the defense was as painful to watch as any I’ve see by our Tigers. Lord, 700 yards and 55 points! It’s unfortunate its ugliness detracted so from the remarkable offense. Can’t help but wonder what high school players that were watching and are thinking about coming to LSU are thinking today about our defense coaching staff.
