Trent Johnson seems to be getting worse with every stop.
Press Maravich wasn't good at LSU, but he was horrendous at App State going 12-51 over 2 1/2 seasons.
Dinardo and Mainieri didn't really "leave" on their own. They were told to leave. Johnson left on his own. But that was essentially to get out before he was told to leave.
Dietzel is the answer here. He left a championship program to go coach a declining legacy in Army. In the process, he tanked what could have been a tremendous career

He did leave Army with a winning record, though it was a declining record. His tenure at South Carolina was abysmal, though.
