Why do I have a feeling this summer will feel longer than previous summers?
Posted on 4/13/11 at 11:47 am to Choctaw
If you thick jj looked ANY better in the spring game then he has the past two years, sans some dropped balls, the you have your head in your arse. He did the same thing he's always done, but he did it against a second team secondary that he should know inside and out. Reads were bad, throws were late, staring down receivers, etc.....
Those passes were that well defended for a reason. The qb has got to help get those guys separation. While there were a couple of well thrown balls, most were not. Even the completions should have gone for many more yards and would have had jj been a qb.
He doesn't have the skills and he obviously doesn't have the attitude. Any qb that can say he's performed well with his track record is not holding himself accountable.

Hard to complete 6 yard passes against the number two defense?

Both Lee and Jefferson had better footwork and looked like better mechanics...
Both of them in spring game when they looked rushed reverted back to same bad habits during spring game imo...
Jefferson looked more decisive when he took off from the pocket.... personally that scares me because I do not want a run first QB.... I want one that will move the chains with his arm, LSU has a nice stable of backs who can move the chains with their feet.
Not sure why people are getting caught up in Spring numbers when the spring game doesn't mean anything.

I agree that the numbers mean nothing. What does mean something is that the same ole jj was on the field. At times I thought his footwork was marginally better, but as the day progressed he was back to his happy feet shite. That's was against a defense that couldn't blitz and couldn't hit him.

I just wish Miles would just say, the QB competition will continue throughout the summer and into fall camp, all three are working hard, the best player will play....
Naming JJ the starter after seeing the spring game and how nothing has changed is assinine...Ive never seen a player being coddled so much and been so bad of a player....those pictures he has must be life altering...

This off-season has limited material for us to complain bout.
Last year this time we had the bowl game loss, the OC discussions, the QB discussions, what is the Miles buyout discussions, the who do you want for the next LSU football coach threads, how long are we gonna put up with the decline in LSU football chat, is being a member of the Top 20 really mediocre or not, how many games must LSU win for Miles to keep his job, and how hot is the Miles seat?
It might be a longgggggggggggggg summer topic wise.

No comment on the evidenced intelligence of this poster since I have joined the Daily Jefferson Bash brigade.
Well maybe just a little one.
Dude you are making your fellow Bashers look bad with this stupid post.
It was harsh but for your own good.

I just want to see you answer a question directly, you know actually taking a stance relating to play on the field.
berating people is probably easier though, that way you cant be criticized for your own opinion
Did $0.02 ever answer your question? All I hear is :crickets:

Thanks for enlightning us TigerFan55555.
You are the second person today to use the term "coddling". Did I miss that it was going to be the term of the day? I thought "garbage" was. Are you a day early with it?
Naming a 1st string QB after the spring is indeed assinine. Nobody but Miles does it. And we all know how dumb he is, right?
Now tell us more about these pictures. Have you seen them? Will you post them online?
I wish more Bashers posts were as well thought out and coherent as yours.
Thaaaaankew.

So Miles should start Mett because of what he did during the spring game in front of the fans....even though all reports coming out of spring camp were that JJ outplayed him?
No, based on his performance all of last year. If he continues doing crappy, he needs to be pulled with a quickness.

A highly scripted, meaningless, glorified practice resulted in the QB going 4/14, vs. the 2nd team defense, while also producing better stats for two other QBs, going against the 1st team defense.
Miles needs a better script.
Thanks, I literally needed that.

I apologise for missing your question.
I think that Jordan Jefferson is probably the worst QB ever to lace up a set of pads. That's how I think now that I have gone over to the Basher side.
Before that I used to think that he was a decent, not great, not terrible QB, that fit into his coach's offensive philosophy. I never thought that I personally was harmed by his play and I never thought that saying bad things about him over and over and over would change the perception of his play.
I wrongfully thought that the coaches who interact with him on a daily basis might know more than I or any other fan might. I was foolish to believe that winning 11 games last year was pretty damn good. I also foolishly admired his talent and courage, believing that he was doing things that I couldn't do as well.
I now realize that such thoughts were wrong. The fans that post here all know more than the coaches, that Jefferson is, in the words of one poster, garbage. I have learned since my conversion that it is the duty of each and every LSU fan to post something bashing Jefferson every day, regardless of how many times the same thing has been posted. It is a sacred requirement that Jefferson be attacked and belittled or else lose claim to being an LSU fan.
I hope I have answered your question, and again I apologise for missing it earlier. Let's keep the bashing going. It's what true fans do.

you typed all that when you could have just answered a simple question.
