Great for when you have young kids who are really enthused about it. I loved ours during that time. But once they get older (they grow up quick) and the playful swimming stops it becomes a huge pain in the azz. So while I don’t regret having one when we did I’ll never do it again.

We have a 21000 gallon pool with a water fall. We had it built 9 years ago. I love the pool and use it quite a bit. I used to maintain the pool myself but it is a chore. I have someone that comes once a week to maintain it now. Your electric bill will increase quite a bit and the cost of maintaining is significant. You can count on it costing you a minimum of $300 to $400 a month.

If you don't have a lot of leaves to fall in, they are great.

Maintenance other than keeping leaves out is easy. I didn't mind testing and dosing the water.

No regret.

I like the aesthetics of it even if I don’t use it much.

I don’t think the maintenance is that big of an issue unless you have trees that overhang it.

Course I can fix any mechanical issue that arises as well so no need for expensive repairmen.
