You’re the one using this thread to bash Wade because he consumes your every thought. The guy you replied to was just contrasting the new coach to the previous one which is only normal. Of course you jump in with your “big talk” lie that’s been debunked for 6 years now. When you were pressed to show evidence of that lie you backpedaled and tried to say you meant it was the fans with the “big talk” only now you’re back to the original lie again. If anybody needs to move on it’s you, you’re obsessed.

Strange post. We got out rebounded 37-30 and at one point it was 22-8 and we weren’t rebounding shite.
Early on we were getting outrebounded as a result of us shooting poorly (<30%) and WF shooting lights out, better than 70%. I remember checking the box score and seeing they had like 12 rebounds to our 4, but each team only had 1 offensive rebound. They had more rebounds because we were bricking it on one end, while we had nothing to rebound because all their shots went through the basket.

Now I will say that as the game progressed we seemed to give up too many offensive rebounds. In particular it seems that Miller who got 1 rebound in 37 minutes could chip in some more.

Honestly, I haven’t formed one yet. The college game these days is 70 percent roster management, 30 percent in game coaching and game planning. I need to see what kind of players he brings in. You can be very good without all the 5 stars as long as you can evaluate players.

Top 100 players have nothing to do with playing in the NBA. Miller is a great shooter, but very average at everything else. KJ has a shot, but imo he lacks the athleticism to make an NBA roster.
LOL on Phillips.

Miller is a very good ball handler, was there point guard on the Team USA U-20, he’s also a good defender. KJ, along with his range, is also a very physical rebounder with and NBA body and post game. And yes top 100 recruits have a definite correlation to NBA draft picks and players even more so than any of the other 3 major sports. Bigs like Phillips are the hardest to predict but you’re 100% wrong on everything else.

He's doing pretty good considering he started with ZERO players.

After 5 years, if MM brings us to one NIT and 4 NCAA tourneys, he will have equaled Wade. That's the facts. (We were most assuredly an NCAA tourney team the lost Covid year). I will even settle for one NIT and 3 NCAA tourneys in 4 years, if one doesn't want to count the Covid year.

Wake me after 4 or 5 years and we can do actual comparisons of results. All this other s&*t is subjective!

BTW, I want MM to succeed because that will mean LSU is winning games.

What is the qualifier? You are so sure that we have 5 guys that are going to play in the NBA.

No idea why people keep saying we dont have the players yet. This team isnt far off at all from last year's.

Two All-SEC caliber players
Days/Eason - Williams/Miller

Solid PG play from JHill, maybe even a more true get everyone involved PG compared to Pinson last year

Extremely talented and raw C, Reid - Reed

Scrappy guard player like Gaines - Hannibal/Hayes

Fountain coming into his own and a solid big man off the bench similar to O'Neal

Wilkinson/JWilliams a year older. Our starting 5 is very comparable to last season. Once this team gels, we're looking at a solid 6 seed in the NCAA tourney

I didn’t say that, don’t know why you’d lie about it. But then again nothing you’ve said is true so I shouldn’t be surprised.

What about Johnny Jones? Curious as to why you didn't mention him, as long as you're moving on.

You comment was “Miller and Williams will play in the NBA”.
And surely two of the other three top hundred guys on the roster will play in the NBA.
So let’s bet whether they play in the NBA ?

You gave run down on the players but the question was how is the Coach doing.

Considering the fact that he inherited zero players and has only 1 loss at the buzzer I don’t care what teams he has played or what holes he has in the Roster. He has done a remarkable job up until this point. There is no doubt he deserves credit for this team doing as well as they have. I am very pleased with our new Basketball head coach.

That’s 2 players not 5. You’re either stupid beyond belief or dishonest.
