What concerns me is what the officiating will look like during our games. I believe there will be a trickle down effect and a lot of calls will not go our way.

How is that? Bama with Tua is way better than Bama with Jones.

Bama not that good without Tua. Tua/bama would have beaten Auburn by 10. Without Tua they are not top 10.

IMO...the CFP Committee wants to
...maximize the money made. Ohio St in the finals brings more eyes to the TV as Ohio is a much larger state than S.C. and LA. They don't want another regional championship game.

It's always about money.

make sure the chances of an SEC team winning the championship are as low as possible. They and many ADs, NCAA school presidents are tired of the SEC dominance

quit with your hogwash... Clemson won last year.

there has been NO SEC dominance.
5 years of CFP; Ohio State-Big ten, 2xBama- SEC, 2xClemson ACC.... The ACC has dominated as much as the SEC.

Michigan drops one spot?

Yep, after getting beat by 30 at home. LSU wins and drops 1 spot. Now that Bama is not their leading lady, the SEC will get screwed and OSU will now be the "new" Bama. This is quite comical

I would argue that nobody outside of the north/Midwest gives two shits about Ohio State. The south has a very strong football culture. Having a southern team in the finals would attract viewers. I do believe that there is Bama/Clemson fatigue, so having a fresh face (LSU or Utah) would be a good thing.

Why would they want to screw us?

If anything, they should want to screw Clemson to avoid the possibility of them winning another NC.

This is what's going on. They want an Ohio st and LSU final!

They are scared that Ohio st cannot beat Clemson . They want LSU to play Clemson and beat them .

They know LSU has a lot better chance of Beating Clemson than Ohio state does

If LSU beats Georgia and does not move into the #1 one position, then my theory is absolutely Dead on!!

Because they now have lost again.

I agree which I why I said our win over them should mean more than Auburn beating them but be that as it may, they now have 2 losses. At least that's how I see it, so you want every team you beat to win after you play them. In this case, both teams can't win

So the way I see it, we beat Bama when they had Tua, it should mean more. To the committee, who knows at this point. They've been all over the place, who knows what they think means more.

Also, Auburn beating Bama makes our win over Auburn look that much better. At least that's how I see it.

But who knows what the committee thinks. They've been so erratic.

But I do agree with you, Bama with Tua is better than Bama with Jones.
