I agree 100% with that and think I've said so multiple times in the thread. It wouldn't be the first or last time some idiot yelled some kind of racial comments at a player.
I think the other conversation is interesting as well though. There are people that will take advantage of certain situations to their advantage. The example that came to mind earlier to me is women claiming harrasment, abuse, etc when it doesn't happen just because they're mad. It happens unfortunately and I can see the point of someone saying that Leonard could just make claims even though they aren't true to justify his actions in order to not see action from the league. I would like to think that's not the case, but it is a possibility just as much as someone yelling something at him.

That's what's being reported. As others have pointed out, it does sound unlikely that someone could shout that kind of thing for an entire game with no one videoing it or reporting it. It seems more probable to me that it was said once or twice and then exaggerated, but these days who knows. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if a group was in the front row and one a-hole was yelling ridiculous shite and it just either went unnoticed or unreported either. There are definitely some dumbass racist fricks in this world.

I didn’t hear the fan say that and if he did I would think other fans nearby would have recorded him or told security. Now I have seen Leonard fight a player and now threatening a heckler. He is a role model who many look up to. Idk what is going on in that franchise or w/ him, maybe something personal (lingering injuries), frustrated bc they are losing, or both.
