I understand that, but if he loses Miss St. One could logically infer that him beating all those teams would not happen.

I wouldn't infer anything. It's a strong year in the SEC but nobody is unbeatable. LSU could lose to State and come out and stomp Auburn next weekend, nobody really knows what will happen.

Honestly, State and Ole Miss are the two passing attacks that worry me the most. Bama's offense is the most balanced by far but they aren't the same team they were last year with Mac Jones at QB throwing darts.

I remember when we used to make halftime adjustments. Those were the days...

Baskerville and Clark should only be covering running backs if they do cover anyone.

I guess if they run crossing patterns with the WRs, our LBs will choose not to cover them?

They will have the middle of the field, regardless of who runs into that area.

If we can't beat State then we have problems only a new staff can fix.

That said, I believe the Tigers will step up on Saturday and come home with a good win.

Our pass rush is the difference from last year. 8, 11,0 and 99 will be too much for MS State’s OL. They will score their points but our pass rush will also cause enough havoc to win us the game.

Daronte Jones > Pelini. There will be no defense shredding this weekend.

Yep

Plus #0 and #8 on the D line together will wreak havoc on EVERY o-line this season going forward.
