Just because you have high expectations for the program you pull for doesn’t make you a scumbag or a negative fan. We can all agree on one thing and that is we want the best for LSU. News flash having high expectations for the program you pull for keeps programs like LSU sustain success. The minute we give in to mediocrity is when teams fall apart. I’m neither a sunshine pumper or a negative fan. I just want the best for LSU. If that means a new coach like we did with Coach O then so be it.

So instead of disliking my post why don’t some of you explain to me why having high expectations for the program you pull for is a bad thing. Please someone explain?

Maybe the OP is maturing and becoming a supporter and not a rabid fan. Most “fans” are incapable of being objective and seeing the big picture. I think it’s great for people to take off the purple and gold glasses and look at things more objectively and not so myopic as a fan would.

A lot of people think because we’ve struggled in basketball for so long and have new hoops fans that the Rant is most ignorant to that sport but it isn’t true. Rant baseball pumpers are by far our most ignorant fan base. A lot of them are entitled idiots who repeat talking points and have no real baseball knowledge even at the basic level of understanding the game.
