Money talks and bullshite walks.
Miles isn't leaving because fans don't like him. As long as he's getting paid, he's staying at LSU.

I've been to more games than anyone under 35. I went to almost every game under Hallman, Dinardo, Saban and Miles. Didn't miss a game from 2002-2008. I don't hate our coach. But I get tired of the same shite each year since 2008. Terrible offense. Similar mistakes. So I can hate on that all I want. I don't want him fired or anything. I just want him to suck up his pride and make changes when they need to happen. And when you frick up royally, come out and admit it instead of speaking some untranslatable code that nobody understands.

I don't hate Miles. I have always thought he was the second coming of Phil Fulmer to date. One NC. Should if had more with talent on hand. Excellent recruiter. Tough offense and rely on defense to win a lot. Fuller had a huge nosedive at end that I don't see happening to Miles. Seriously, where is Miles going to go?? If Michigan ever wanted him, he would be gone. Arkansas was a leverage deal on his part, nothing from Arkansas end. Seriously, where would he go. Cowboys if Jones wants a yes man?? He will be here for his career unless things go the UT/Fulmer at the end. BUT, he and LSU Will Win it all THIS year

I like the fact that we almost never get blown out of a game; however, I HATE that we play down to every inferior opponent (see North Texas, Towson, etc.). Those are the games where you need to iron out things before playing the big guns. The anemic offenses, loyalty to JJ, and the 1/9/12 debacle are things that will never make me come around on Miles. He knows that being goofy will help out his image with the fanbase. If he was a dick, I guarantee you the fans would not be as forgiving.

It's like most LSU fans keep telling themselves that Miles is Saban's antidote when in reality, Saban owns Miles (just look at the hardware). I view him as a celebrity more than a coach.

I think Miles is a great coach. Top 3 in the country. I could care less about anyone throwing hate his way. LSU will be fine for as long as Les wants to be here. The fanbase is spoiled and expects a BCS champ team every year. It just will not happen.

Miles isn't perfect, but nobody is. Even Saban who is a horse's arse can't walk on water. I can remember when Tennessee was competing with Florida for sec titles every year and when Fulmer hit a rough patch they canned him. Now look where the volunteers are today. I bet most Tennessee fans would kill to have their program where it was before they let Fulmer go. Miles does make some goofy decisions but he also has made some great ones, it goes with the territory. LSU is a couple of bad breaks away from 2 additional national titles, Bama has been lucky, especially in 2011. LSU's time is coming. Hiring Cameron will hopefully alleviate the one area of weakness that has given
Bama the edge right now. I don't think there is another coach out there who could elevate the LSU program like Miles has. Please don't say Urban Meyer!!! By the way, I have been a Washington Husky fan since childhood and I would love to have coach Miles in Seattle.

He isn't going anywhere because no D-1 school wants him. 10 wins and a job for life.

Well what do you know! Agree with all of the above. Season Tickets with my parents since the 70s. I started college '89 and left LSU in 94. I watched 2-9 seasons, and sat the worst 6 year period of LSU football as well. I just wished we could be like Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, Fla State, Oklahoma etc. Well Guess what? We are! Year in year out we are one of the best programs in the country.

Yes it sucks ballz that we are literally just an AVERAGE offense away from more titles and we are watching Saban do it at Bama. But the guy wins lots of games. He has an NC and SEC championships. I spent the first 4 years of Miles bitching and complaining. But it hit me, as fans we are watching the best era of LSU football and I refuse to piss and moan about it ALL the time.

I agree. If we would have stayed with our same D that we had for the whole game we would have beat Bama and the season would have looked a lot different last year. Instead we went to a prevent and it cost us the game.

And as for the rematch game with Bama, I hear too many stories about what really happened, but Bama didn't play the same team in the national championship that they did in the first game. But like I said in my first statement, "that's why we make mistakes, so we can learn from them".

I left la when I graduated in '72.
I just returned / retired in '09.
I lived in d.c., dal, hou, and l.a. in very competitive, educated, intelligent communities.

moving back to la, I again appreciate the low iq of most of the la population. I have found most negative miles posters are actually quite stupid.

and, i'm talking about Spatial reasoning. clem has an amazing iq and can only be appreciated by like persons. others are too stupid to understand.

people are attracted to people of equal mental reasoning and health.

Alabama has had better talent. How do you figure Les should have had more?

Who said this? They played the same people, just had a better game plan. Its pretty simple.
