I’m a little concerned he missed due to the magnitude of the game. I’ll be interested to see if that affects him going forward. We need to get him back in rhythm, as in may come into play against A&M or a bowl game.

What magnitude? That game was lost. He just missed it.

He hit the Auburn game winner and there was far more pressure on that kick.

Hell, he'll probably have to kick 6 field goals this week and 8 or so at A&M. He's going to be a busy man.

Yeah he'd only need 9 more made FGs, in this game, for it to matter.

I honestly think he missed it because in his head he was doing the math, and at that moment he realized his head coach had a gaping vagina

That was the weakest shite I've seen in a long time. It became obvious at that point that we were no longer trying to win but merely claim that we weren't shut out. They gave up, so I gave up also and left at that point.

the miss was 100 percent karma for O literally just quitting on the game and trying to make the score look better

That was the lowest pressure kick he will ever take. Was meaningless and shouldn't have even been attempted. Cole knew it like everybody else.

Often when a kicker lines up a bit off and does not realize it, he muscle memory/body will realize it as he approaches the ball.....this results in the kicker attempting to compensate.

Admittedly, I was a little drunk and have not looked at the video since the game, but when Cole lines up, I remember think he looked off....and sure enough, he overcompensated and hooked it.

Mental mistake. Gotta go through the same motions, the same way, 100% of the time.

You haven’t heard? The math behind it was solid.

I like to think that I'm too smart to believe in this sort of thing. But, damn! I can't shake the feeling there is truth to it.

I guess that 29-3 would have looked better than 29-0; pure BS ; go for the TD always.

My 10 year old said to go for it ; no moral victories needed at that point

He will tighten up. Might have been good for him since it had no bearing on the game

He was probably in shock from being asked to kick a field goal when his team was down by the equivalent of three 3 TDs in the 3rd. I know I was.
