I remember he had to apologize to one of the pitchers last year on Twitter because he misquoted them and made it sound like the player was calling out his teammates.

It's frustrating for Tiger Baseball fans to be sure, but take solace in the fact that the last time they lost to Nicholls St. they won the CWS. They also lost to Mississippi Valley State that year. MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE people. They'll be just fine. Take another shot of 1800 and relax.

But does the fact that college basketball is way more popular and relevant on a national level than college baseball make college basketball polls more relevant than college baseball?
To explain my point: A handball league may decide a championship based on a poll, but a college basketball poll would still mean more because the sport means so much more.

I think he is a decent sports writer. Is he the best? No, but he isn't bad. So many people in this board think the advocates job is to promote LSU no matter what. It isn't, that duty belongs to the sports information office.
