u are an idiot....go back from where you came from and be happy with your lame arse championships. There was not one intelligent piece of material in your thread. We are all worst off from reading that garbage. Cat 4 or 3 bearing down on our arse and a 10am game and you post that crap. Get a clue. We still had a nice crowd and we ran right over yall sorry asses. I tell you what..follow a real team...follow them down for a night game here..and prepare to be awed you jackass.

We don't "make an entrance" we leave an impression (see your opening message). Glad you had a decent time and with all things considered, it wasn't THAT bad. Just try a night game vs. any SEC opponent. I mean, how pumped would and AP state game vs. say Lebanon Valley or something? (nothing against ASU), but let's be realistic to some degree. I enjoyed ya'll being here and wish you the best of luck on your 4th

Maybe it's cause I grew in the "real" Death Valley where an entrance is important.

I guess when you can't put a decent team on the field, it helps to dazzle the local yokels with a lot of noise and flashing lights.

I always thought the band coming into the stadium the way it does is really cool. Hanging out by Mike right before you go over to watch it is pretty nostalgic as well for me.

panhandle and to all.

The main reason for my post was to say that I now believe the SEC is the best conference ever. Especially after what SC did to NC State and oh my gosh what bama did to clemson. Again, thanks for everything. Didn't want to piss you guys off. If you don't worry about entrances, thats alright. As one of you said, you sure did leave an impression. Cheers to a great start to your season. Good luck.

What's the typical entrance to the field...?
Deafening crowd noise.

I understand Saturday sucked - I was there - but you are a fool if you think it was typical.

Or you are just trying to get a rise out of us ... congratulations on that.

However, I must say, the Death Valley experience was rather lame, especially as the Tigers took the field. I know it wasn't a typical day, but c'mon. This was the first home game after the NC. Maybe it's cause I grew in the "real" Death Valley where an entrance is important. But even App makes the entrance more exciting. The ROCK with 28,000 makes more noise than Tiger Stadium with 65,000.

OK, it's like this...Louisiana has a population of approximately 4.5 million, most of which live below I-10. It is estimated that 1.9 million people evacuated because of Gustov. This was no way a typical Saturday at Tiger Stadium. I am glad that you had a good time but I invite you to come back when the weather is a little better and we are playing a real team...

Although I understand part of your post, to insult a fanbase who's mind was more on an approaching hurricane than a football game was unnecessary. Do you realize BR got hit with 90 mph winds today? Lots of people who would've made pregame more pumped were leaving and may not have a home to come back to?
Thanks for the compliment on our conference, but think before you speak on the rest...that is all.

If anyone gave two shits about your opinion, I'm sure they'd bring you back for the UGA/ Bama game. But I'm sure all are content with you keeping your opinion about the "real" Death Valley; becuase, we know better.

Oh by the way,

usually we roll out the corpse of Huey p long to the imperial march. Then the band plays Carmina Burana while the players march out in the formation of a skull. We then slaughter a few moose and ox and every fan feasts on the blood of children born to our opponents.

seriously though, we should do this

I am sure your high school stadium experience puts "chills" down your back.

So touching a ROCK in place where SEATS should be is SOOOOOO EXCITING?

That would be called the Pebble and it is a high school stadium! There are high school stadiums in Texas bigger than 28,000! Geez how stupid do you think we are?

My 1st and 2nd impressions were the same about App St. Just another easy win against a VERY INFERIOR team!

App...sorry you have been getting a lot of negative post, it has been a long day due to the 90-100mph winds through Baton Rouge today.

I agree. You saw us at our worse ever. Game time advanced 6 hours ahead of scheduled time and 9 hours earlier than normal. Many of us where tired from boarding family houses and the like. I've been to Clemson and they are a top 15 CFB experience - but Clemson is no LSU. If you want to compare a nominal Clemson experiece to a 6 sigma bad day for LSU, then go with it...

Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed the trip and ribs
